We would like to bring this tradition to Thailand to Baba Beach Club Phuket!<\/span><\/p>\n

December 14-17th is the 4th year Wonderfruit festival<\/a> takes place on the open fields of the Siam Country Club in Chonburi, Pattaya – it is described as Thailand\u2019s mini Burning Man, every year about 4,000-5,000 people from all ends of the Earth gather to celebrate the arts and sustainable living.<\/span> Bringing world-class international live music acts and DJs, perspective-shifting talks and workshops, world-class cuisine and much more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following this incredible festival, we\u2019ve booked some of their artists at Baba Beach Club Phuket. \u2018Baba Decompression\u2019 is set from December 18-21st and everyday we have something special for you!

Baba Decompression
\n<\/strong>Monday, December 18th – Arrival Day
\n<\/b>The day when most guests arrive, settle-in and warm up to the environment. Local DJ Taz and Sri Panwa\u2019s Music Director, Sergey, will be spinning some soothing lounge, chilled-out dub and downtempo to ease you into the club\u2019s new atmosphere. Come enjoy a few health drinks or Bloody Mary\u2019s by our pool for sunset, see who you\u2019ll end up mingling with from the Wonderfruit field.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Wild Sirenda (UK) – an exhilarating force of love that is Lizz and Guinevere. One the Wild. One the Sirenda. To feel it, you must experience it. A music, voice and dance transmission that creates a space for powerful transformation on every dance floor. Wednesday, December 20th – Be Svendsen (All Day I Dream)
\n<\/b>Our biggest headliner is Tarantino-techno king, Be Svendsen (All Day I Dream) – <\/span>\u201cThe music should ultimately connect you to a bigger picture. The goal is to express and convey a feeling, and to behold the moment.\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

Be Svendsen produces an organic and nomadic style of techno. After starting his solo project in 2011 releasing a series of EPs and remixes, the ripples spread via live performances and a breakthrough into the international scene came in 2014. While exploring a myriad of styles and musical traditions, Be\u2019s live show-downs has developed into a melting pot of hypnotic desert-circus-shaman-cowboy-techno, incorporating elements of vocals, teased field-recordings, nostalgic samples and live instruments, mixed up with the meditative qualities of repetition.<\/span><\/p>\n

His performance takes the audience on a deep experimental journey, providing a cinematic soundscape allowing the receivers to celebrate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, December 21st: Dan Buri, Pauli Pocket & Foolik
\n<\/b>What better way to end the decompression period with one of Thailand\u2019s favorite late-night juggernauts and leading artist, Dan Buri (Neverst Records) and the residents of two of the finest clubs in Berlin – Pauli Pocket (Katerblau) and Foolik (Sisyphos). <\/span><\/p>\n

Dan Buri – responsible for the proliferation of techno in Bangkok, he is like the city having its own Berlin resident DJ at its helm. His German upbringing reverberates in the brooding yet melodic soundscapes that he plays, but his Thai roots lend him a more lighthearted approach to everything that he does. In fact, whether he\u2019s playing deep and undulated techno or organic tech house, his legacy in the city is defined by his high-octane performances and an unparalleled ability to engage and connect with the crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pauli Pocket – we heard of this girl who came to a club to play some records – which she brought along in a plastic bag. Since she was not old enough to hang out at parties she was accompanied by her father. This was almost 10 years ago. In the meantime she\u2019s cleaned the slate and rearranged her mode. Digital feels good. \u00a0Now she lives in Berlin, holds a residency at Kater Blau and is moving forward at a breakneck pace – up to where the air is thin!<\/span><\/p>\n

Foolik – taking up DJing in 2009, Sisyphos resident Foolik has rapidly established himself as one of the busiest and most in-demand DJs on Berlin\u2019s underground club and outdoor scene, spinning a driving \u2018pushy\u2019 tech flavoured selection of house music designed to pack \u2013 and rock- any dance-floor. Wandering into Sisyphos for the first time in 2011, the young Berliner became a regular soon afterwards, making his DJ debut there 12 months later in a back-to-back 4 hour Wintergarten session with friend and nowadays fellow Sisyphos resident, Leon Licht. Spinning house, tech-house and even techno sets on occasion, he\u2019s unusually flexible though focused, delivering a driving original, always energetic, sound.<\/span><\/p>\n
